Bradfield Organics® Bone Meal fertilizer is a particularly excellent source of readily available phosphates and calcium. It is superb for feeding bulbs and tubers, root crops such as carrots and onions, shrubs and fruit trees. Because of its basic pH, it is especially good for clematis, lilac and hydrangea.

One pound contains 3 cups of product.

 DIRECTIONS

Gardens: Thoroughly mix 10 ounces per 100 square feet into soil 30 to 60 days prior to planting.

Shrubs and Perennials: Sprinkle 2 to 3 ounces around the base of the plant and gently work into surface soil at the beginning of the growing season.

Fruit Trees: Sprinkle 10 ounces per inch of trunk diameter around the dripline of the tree in February or March. Gently work into soil and water.

Note: Bone meal is basic in pH; avoid using on acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias.
